And were are here to Pump [clap] you up! That right, I have jumped on the bandwaggon. I have been excersicing for the last week (roughly) so far I feel pretty good. I haven'gt noticed the Gut going anywhere but I guess that takes a little more time. The Gym in my apartment is pretty good. They have a good Low Impact Machine for Running which is great considering my screwed up knees. They have a TV in there with Cable and Video Jacks where we can Plug in the Portable DVD and watch More Buffy!!! (I finished season III BTW). I even started eating better (Kinda) I have cut out Soda (I miss my pepsi's!!!) I Can only hope that I am in good enough shape when it comes to the costume for DragonCon. Here is Crossing Fingers!!!
Star Wars: Episode III | Revenge of the Sith
Thats Right! The news is out! the title for Star Wars Episode III is officaly announced as "Revenge of the Sith". Personaly I find this pretty damn cool considering the original title of ROTJ was Suposed to be Revenge of The Jedi and not Return of the Jedi.

Pleasant Weekend
Hey there all, Had a really good weekend. Friday I got dressed up in the ole Scout gear and Went over to see the Guys running the Tribal Wars LAN event. Went really well, I am depressed that I didn't sign up. Looks like it would have been really fun. Amy got lots of looks in her Trooper Groupie outfit (I think they were staring more at Her and not at me). Saturday was a Lazy morning and then a Night out with Some 501st Friends Steve and Rain. We hit a nice Japanese SteakHouse. Then off to the Potomac Mills Mall to watch I-Robot. Movie Review to follow. Sunday was a Gym day. Spent about 30 Min on the Low Impact Machine (My knees would have killed me had I done a treadmill). Then the rest of Sunday was nice and quiet. I am really getting on this Gym Kick. I have a Surprise costume coming for DragonCon and want to look Good in it. So it lots of Situps and Cardio. Must Loose this Gut!!!
Oh!! Almost forgot to add. We picked up a Great Dress for Amy to Wear in Costume. The File Name gives it away a bit (as with the inlet). She is really happy with it. Here She is
So, I-Robot. This was a Really good movie. The action sequences were well done and the Plot was very straight forward. I know it was Based loosely on an Isaac Asimov story. While I had not read the book. The Ideas presented were done very well. If I say anything about it I know it would give it away. If your looking for Just Sci-Fi and Action with no Plot, then look elsewhere. If you want all that and a good Story too, then go See I-Robot

Weekday Musings
Ok so the videos from Belagosa got me thing about a number of things. First I decided to run a test on the capture software and built this little Rebel advertisement. Arik brought up the Idea that I might be able to film my Fan Film Idea in SWG. I would need the help of one of the Devs but I think I can do it. We shall see. Other than that, Pretty slow week. Will prolly go see I-Robot this weekend. Might post more soon.
Weekend of Nothing
Wow, What a weekend, I really did pretty much nothing! I know it's hard to believe but it's True. On Friday I stayed in and watched some More Buffy. Played a little swg but not much.
Saturday I leisurely woke up and went over to Jen's house to help Amy babysit. While there we (you guessed it) watched more Buffy. . Sunday was a very lazy day, Went out to try and find a new Balaclava cause I lost mine at shoreleave. After that, Yup, more Buffy. . I managed to get to the 6th Episode on Season 3. I know next weekend is a mini-con, I hope to get a new Balaclava before then. /sigh Well here is something to keep you Busy, this dude has some Funny SWG videos on his site, Check it out!

Doc Can't Learn to Use a Title Field
Post. Just cos I hadda. I'm doing a big fat nothing this weekend ... it's the first weekend i've done nothing in a while. I plan to Enjoy my nothing. Thanks for caring.
Blahdy Blah
I felt the need to Post something because I haven't Posted all week. Sad thing is, there hasn't been much to Post about. Not much going on at home and not much this weekend. Shrug! Maybe something exciting will happen and I can post about it. In the mean time, Have a Good weekend!
Where did the weekend go?!?!
The days just flew by, even though I spent probably 26 hours of it in a car. The drive to DC was fast and uneventful and only took about 9 1/2 hours. But the drive home was horrible. Everything from storms, bad directions (Damn you Bitchin Betty!), almost getting pulled over, bad accidents (including one chemical spill in which I inhaled a lot of ammonia), horrible traffic and me almost getting plowed by a woman not paying attention (she took out the guy behind me). All in all, it took me 15 hours to get home.
The weekend was a lot of fun. I got pwned at Halo (It was my first time playing ever) but I am getting better. Steve failed to mention that I pwned everyone in Crimson Skies (still first time playing), proving that I am the better pilot :).
The Con itself was okay I guess, but I felt more like a 5th wheel tag along. I did get to meet a lot of cool people. Steve and Doc suck at introductions, so if I seemed quiet and shy and all that, I'm only like that on the first date (But I'll still go all the way ;)) After you get to know me, I'm a big ball of laughs, or at least a ball of something. I can't wait to see these people again.
Okay, so I liked the 501st. They're really what made the Con fun. I think I'd like to join. This year will be tough though with grad school and all. Since I plan on moving near Steve, I may have to wait until then. Was thinking of Boba Fett armor or Ep. 3 Anakin. Who knows. My wife has the costume bug now, she wants to put together a Nightsister (part of the witches of Dathomir). Regardless, school, work and kids come first.
Yesterday was spent playing with the kids and taking them to the zoo. And now its back to the grind and getting stuff done. Can't wait for school to start so I can get it done and over with.
P.S. This is what it would look like if the Q and R were removed.
P.P.S Hey Amy...OMG, Steve!!!!

After Action Report:
Howdy all! Shoreleave is over, So is the whole weekend! Where the heck did it Go?!?!?!?! The days flew by so quick I feel I need another weekend just to recover! Well anyways, Here goes the ever loved DAY BY DAY REPORT of the weekend!
Friday: Yeah I know I blogged Friday already, but more happened! (: The Plan was that Lee would drive in on Friday afternoon and Doc and Mark would drive up in the evening. Well Plans change kinda. Lee rolled in around 4:30ish and we headed upstairs at my work for a "Meeting" Lee got to meet some of the guys from work and got pwned in Halo! But it was still a Blast and our team won the CTF match! Well we went home and Got some Red Robin for dinner. Amy even had Lettuce on a Burger! (gasp) After that it was Back to Prepare for a Full house. Turns out Mark couldn't make it up but instead we had Matt, another 501ster. Played a Little more Halo on my Tiny ass screen and then Headed to bed.
Saturday: Managed to Pull myself out of bed at around 9:30am and On the road by around 10:30 to head to Shoreleave! Was only about an hour up there so we Made time singing in the Car to the Buffy Musical and Avenue Q. Hey Matt, what’s the Internet for? When we got there we Went ahead and Registered. Walked through the Dealers room and saw a few of the Celebs. Sadly, nothing in the Dealers room caught my attention so we went to see some of the Talks. Got to see Brian Thompson give his talk, Real nice guy! Then it was off to the 501st Luncheon. Was really nice to see the turnout we had, around 30-40 Troopers showed up! I am sure the food for lunch was great even if it took an hour to show up. (I didn't eat, wasn't hungry) After Lunch we decided it was time to Armor up. Jango Steve and Rain were nice enough to let us change in their room. Was great having so many Troopers in Armor. Amy got to debut her first costume (at her first convention) She was the Biker Scout Groupie. (although she kept eyeballing those TK guys). While walking through the Celebrity area, a lot of the Celebs wanted to take Pictures with us (how weird is that!) We also got to Invade a Star Trek Bridge. Jango Steve got to Transform into Wolverine Steve and show off his AMAZING Costume!!! We headed off to the Masquerade and saw some really cool outfits and had a good laugh at some of the entertainment. Then it was time to Dance and Boogie in 10-Forward. After a Good run there we were beat and it was time to head Home. At least, for some of us. Doc and Matt decided they weren't done and would catch a ride back. So, drive, Home, Sleep (pass out).
Sunday: Groan! Woke up at around 11am (I think). Poured some Caffeine into the system and Got some food. Doc and Matt showed up somewhere around 1ish and we went to Applebee’s for lunch (yes, Lunch). Then to Wal-Mart to try and get some Prints done of the Digital Pics. They have a Cool machine that prints out Regular pictures from Digital Cards! (Yeah i know I need to get out more and Unplug) Back to the house to meet up with William (Footloose from SWG). We hung out Playing X-Box some more and then Decided we should go See Spiderman 2 (They hadn't seen it yet). Got me thinking about a Cool Black Spidey Costume!
Well, That about Sums up the weekend, Lee left this morning around 8:30ish and is driving now. I Imagine he will post when he gets home. I need a Nap now!

TGIF (Yeah I know it's overused)
WhooHoo! It's friday! that means it is coming on Party time. As I write this, Lee is on his way up from TN and it's Game on. You see, he fancies himself quite the Pilot in X-wing Alliance, We have been playing for quite a while. But we have a problem playing Online cause both of us are on Routers and firewalls and Blah blah blah, It's got issues. So we haven't actually be able to play against each other. So he is bringing his system up for some good old fashion LAN gaming. and it's gonna be GAME ON!!
Also in the news. Theoreticly, Doc and Mark are suposed to come up this evening to crash at my Place before heading up to ShoreLeave on Saturday. So I guess it's Kinda Party time at my place! (: Hmm I should go Shopping.
On the Buffy Front, I have no finished Season 1 of the Series. I was expecting a cliff hanger but it was still Good. Even started Season 2 with the first Episode. I am trying to Tone myself down to like 2 episodes a day instead of the Marathon I did last Monday. Well this weekend is Gonna Rock, expect pictures on Sunday or Monday!

Hurricane Season
Ok. We need to talk about this "Hurricane Season" thing. People go around saying this like it's ski season or duck-hunting season; something during which those people who are so inclined as to participate go and purchase odd-looking and expensive gear, disappear on a three day weekend and come back with a brace of pheasant or a full-body cast. This is misleading in extremis. There's no choice here, innocent bystanders get the shaft right along with the storm-groupies and heavy-weather-whores. And there's the major problem: I like my power. My internet. My gaming console du jour. My Inter-freaking-net. And dame hurricane lays trump on all that mess. All she allows for is beer-drinking and candle-light fornication. Which, in case you're wondering, I have no problems with. But I want it on my own terms. Human beings long ago broke from the estrus cycle; I see no need to have some nasty wind and rain dictate a return.
I'm not even going to dignify comments about the bread-milk-egg hoarding that commences as the first damp gales roll in, nor will I stoop to comments about the relative plunge in driving skill as the season approaches; let that be another ran- er, blog all it's own.

What not to do!
And now its time for our first edition of "What not to do!" with our host, Kensai!
Well, thank you very much. Ah! It's that wonderful time of year to celebrate the birth of our country. (*sniff* She was so cute when she was little. Where does the time go?) The hotdogs, hamburgers and fireworks, what a way to celebrate but go camping with your family by a beautiful lake. *BZZZZTTT* Wrong! Never take anyone under the age of 4 camping. I have two daughters at the ages of 1 and 3.
The 1 yr old can't walk yet and so would have to crawl around the campsite. Sounds okay right? The camping location was on the side of a mountain and so was a huge slope. Each camping spot was a 20' by 20' wooden platform that you could hammer down your tents on. The wood was old and mossy, slippery as hell (several people took nose dives) and rather splintery, not a good place for a baby. So, she stayed in her playpen a lot...And complained. The 3 yr old is in the process of potty training and so my wife had only brought her underwear instead of pull-ups...Need I say more? Well, my 6 yr old had a bit more fun since he got to play with his cousins, but for the most part, he was bored...And complained about it.
Camping up in the mountains should be nice and cool. *BZZZZTTT* Wrong! Not thinking, I only packed jeans and no shorts. It was hot and humid as hell, plus much in the way of biting bugs. I stayed in my swimsuit the whole time and sleep wasn't much of an option.
Aside from us and a few other groups, most of the people at this site looked like rejects from an old biker gang. It was this shy of a KKK rally. Everybody was blaring their cassettes of Lynard Skinard and various country. If I hear "Freebird" one more time I'll... Anyway, the people at the site next to us even had a pig. Which inspired us to make loud comments like "Shall we cook bacon for breakfast?"
Well, it rained on us three times, soaking the hell out of our stuff. One of those times was a wonderful thunderstorm that scared the kids to death. To top it all off, when we finally got out of there, the car broke on the way home. It's at the repair shop today.
Well, not all the weekend was bad. The food was good and we did get to spend time with the family. Plus, my wife and I got to go kyacking for a little bit.
Ah well, I'm glad its over. Can't wait for this weekend since I get to drive up to DC by myself.

Spiders, Troopers, and Vampires, Oh MY
Well, I certainly can't say that it was an Un-interesting weekend! With So much happening, I would have to say, (you knew it was coming) YET ANOTHER day by Day run-down!
Saturday: Well Saturday was nice and quiet for the most part, I Picked up Amy and we went to see Spiderman 2. It was Amazing! better than the first. I am a huge spidey fan so this was important to me. They did a wonderful job in relating a (closely)true to comic interpretation. The effects were Great but they didn't overpower the story. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! The rest of the evening was filled with a Trip to the coffee shop, and Playing a bit on the computer, Not to mention getting my laundry done! (Must have clean clothes)
Sunday: Happy 4th of July!! We headed down to the Parade at the Pattons house, Amy volunteered to be our Photographer. Got down there and the Cast was: Me, Caleb, CC, Marc P., Lori P, Shipley, Jenny, Amy, and Ken Knight. The Golf Cart looked Cool, and it looked even cooler with Troopers on it. You can check out the Gallery to see Pictures and a Wonderful Video of the "Event". After the Parade the Rain came in and pretty much wiped out the Picnic, Shame too, the food Looked good. So we hung out at the Pattons and had a Grand time. After that it was back to the DC area to Check out some Fireworks and Call it a Day. Except that, I fell asleep ): I was so tired from the Parade that when I got back home I had to take a Nap. Well before I Knew it I was waking up to Firecrackers going off outside and it was 9pm. Ah well, the day was not wasted and I certainly got some rest.
Monday: Woke up before noon, Prolly due to the incredible amount of sleep I got! (: ok, now this story is gonna involve a little backstory. ok, so at the Party on Sunday at the Pattons, Jenny, Amy, Doc and Marc started singing some stuff that I personaly have never heard. Very Broadwayish. But the Point being that, They were singing something that I Had never heard (and it wasn't country) So I became Intrigued. I told Amy that I had to see what it was. Turns out it was the Musical Buffy Episode. So on Monday, we Watched it. Doc can cuss and swear all he likes about watching them in order. But it worked, I was hooked. From 5pm to 11pm I sat and watched 7 Episodes of the first Season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer back to back. Why didn't anyone tell me this was a cool show? (I know I know, you did). So now, my problem is, My Back is KILLING me. I Layed down too much yesterday and my back is complaining to me.
So that was the weekend. I do want to apologise to Doc, I know he wanted to see me out at Nations on the 4th but to be totaly Honest, I was out like a Light. Sorry Bud. Now to go Nurse my Back.

I feel more dumber now than I were before. I went to see Dodgeball today. Ummm Yeah, How to explain using words that the normal population would understand. Well, there were some funny lines. And Lots of gratuitous babe action. But other than that, I felt my IQ dropping during the movie. I would have probably been more entertained by watching the Cheese on my nachos coagulate. I feel the need to go watch a good movie. Spiderman here I come!
On the flipside. Things are going as planned for this weekend, should have some good pictures from the Parade on Sunday! Hope everyone has a Great weekend and Enjoy the 4th!!!

OK. Summer's been fun. It can end now. No, really, I've had enough sweaty ass-crack to last a lifetime. I'm over it. Change the channel.
Good day at work. Bad day getting home. Need to get the car in the shop pronto ... and that's my kid's college education down the drain (good thing I'm not a dad yet). Looking forward to demonstrating to Wizzer that I can actually show up to a planned event, this 4th's gonna rock ...
More later. Out.

Ugh, What is it today, I just can't seem to get going. Went to bed around midnight last night, and Honestly, thats Early considering I get up at 8am. Lee and I were up till about 11 trying to get a direct connect with X-Wing Alliance to work. Getting really annoyed with that too. Also checked out the new "Anaversary Award" in Galaxies. It's some crappy painting, no, wait I can't even call it a painting cause it's a Drawing, Thats it, a Pencil drawing that they turned into a Painting. I mean it's nice of them to give out the stuff, But I have seen some paintings in the rest of the game that look amazing, and they give us Sketches. Sigh. Only two things are holding me to the game and thats the Upcoming Smuggler Revamp and the Space Expansion.
