Holy good Gods, when it rains it Pours!!! ok, so here I am, it's 3 days to DragonCon. 3 DAYS!!!! The Stressers are Building. On Top of Getting all of the Costumes Ready, Working on Johns Clone Armor, Building a List of what To take Suddenly I get a Letter from GMAC (my Car Loan people) telling me they want more Money. Normaly this would be fine except I re-financed my Car through the my bank and GMAC was paid off. So I had a Huge Hassle with THAT today. THEN... it turns out I had to get the Brakes on my Car re-Done and the Serpintine Belt Replaced. GAH!!!!! I need a Vacation from getting ready for my Vacation!

6 Days!!
Can you believe it's only 6 days till DragonCon!!! I am so nervous! This is a big debut for me and a bunch of my costumes! I hope they all look ok. Anyways, not much else going on. I have gotten some good Reviews from my Video. I have started some test work for the next video. I don't want to Leak too much info on it yet, But with the work I am planning for it, it's gonna be good. I will prolly be re-vamping the WizFilm pages to show the new Videos. Also need to work on that Costume page for my Main site. I wouldn't expect any of this to be done before DC tho. Something to hold you over Until then:

Good Gods I am sore
Did Toby Mcguire have to go through this much pain to get in shape? ok So maybe he prolly did, But he gets paid BooKoo bucks for that. So last night I went full bore and Hit the machine at about 7-8 MPH for 15 min with a sustained HR of around 175....... Twice. Add in a set of 40 Situps and 15 pushups before the workout, and then another 40 and 15 afterwards. I have 2 weeks left before we leave for DragonCon! I want to Look as Good as Possible. Granted I know I don't look as bad as the tron guy, But still. When I get into a character I want to be Accurate! For DragonCon, I will become Peter Parker! (: (Ok Now I am starting to sound like a loon).

Everything else is going ok. My Eye is slowling getting better. it's not as Swollen and not as sore. This upcoming weekend is a Solo weekend. Doc has invited me down to VA Beach, but I haven't decided if I want to go. Next weekend (the 28th) John will be back in Town to work on his Armor and the weekend after that is DragonCon (wow is it that close???) So this weekend is just me and I have a chance to Breath and get things in order around the house. Not to mention getting costumes in Order. I think I am gonna start working on a Costuming page for the Site. So I can write up about each Costume I am doing. For DragonCon, Amy and I are doing Sort of matching Costumes. Here is a Table showing what we are doing. I will be updating this table with real pictures as I have them:

My Spidey Suit Has arrived!!!!!! Check out the gallery for some Pictures of it. Of course the Real fun will be when I wear the suit at DragonCon. WhooHoo I am so Excited! It fits really well and is Super comfortable!
The weekend went pretty well. Saturday we had a Company picnic. After that I came home and Waited for Doc and Diz to show up. We hung out for a while and then went to Rain and Steves place to hang out there and go Over costumes. Got to see an Early version of Doc's Gambit costumes and all I have to say is WOW! I will see about Uploading some Pics soon.
Sunday we went to see Aliens Vs Predator. Overall it was good. Lacked any Deep story line but hey, I wasn't expecting to see any. It was Far too short. I wanted to see Lots more Predator Kicking the Crap out of Slimey Alien action but it was Good. Came home, Ate dinner. Got Stomach Cramps, went to bed. Now this morning I have a Really wierd Un-explained Swollen Eye. I have no Idea why. If it gets worse I am sure you will hear about it.

Drinking for fun and profit
Life gets increasingly weird. Like, logarithmically. I went out for a drink at a club I know last night, to hear some half-decent music and possibly talk to some people.
Man, what a stupid idea.
The club is nice and dead (the way I like it, not really a fan of crowds) for all of half an hour, and then it's like Moses parked his damn ark right outside the door. Within the span of an hour, I've talked to 2 drag queens, a man with a killer mohawk who offers to shave me as well if I'll come back to his pad, and a cute 18-year old chick who proceeds to tell me she's on her third day of heroin detox within 5 minutes of her introduction and spends the rest of the night emphatically trying to convince me she's killed someone before. I'm not making a shred of this up. I can't write short fiction that gets better than this.
Almost done with my Gambit get-up for DragonCon. Wacky.

Weekend? what weekend?
As some of you know, I got called into work over the weekend. Now, Normaly this would suck, but, All I was doing at work was moving files from one place to Another and I got to use the Internet while doing so, So it wasn't all that bad. Managed to Finish off Season 4 of Buffy and am now on the Second Disk of Season 5. I hope to have Season 6 done by DragonCon as I am dressing as Spike.
On Sunday I managed to do some Makeup tests, yeah they didn't go so well so I am gonna do them again. Well see what Happens next weekend. By Next weekend I hope to have a Photo Layout of all the Costumes I am doing for the Con, at last count there was at least 7. I may not get to do all of them, But I will have them Ready. (:

So, its been a bit since I've posted, so sue me. I haven't had that much to post the would be interesting anyway.
Well, I did it, something I thought I'd never do. I joined to company softball team at the company picnic. It was kinda fun and the kids got to play on a bunch of those inflatable things where they bounce and run around. Anyway, yeah I should work out. It was evident when my knees gave out rounding third and heading for home (scored the winning point in the championship game. Woot!). I didn't fall but I was SO done after that. Thats what they get for making me catcher. (Technically, I didn't catch anything either. /sigh)
Well, the rest of the weekend was spent in mucho pain. My knees were so sore that I could barely walk and I had severely sunburned my arms, neck and face. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.
Well, we also took the kids out to the zoo yesterday, I looked pretty funny with the way that I was walking (pain) and the racoon face from the burn line around my sunglasses. It was fun but tack on ankle pain. If this is what getting older is all about I opt out!

Weekend Update WIth your Host: Wizzer!
Well Well Well Well Well, What another great weekend! Not mcuh Happened on Friday but Prepping for the House warming Party at Marc and Lori Pattons. And Sunday was Spent Driving Back from Said Party and then sitting at home all day sick. Not sure what I had, but it sucked. Didn't want to do anything but Lay there and Groan. But..... SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!
ok So Saturday was the Party. Marc and Lori just moved into their new house and it Looked AMAZING, That is, after I finaly got there. See Amy and I left at around 12:30pm on Saturday. I was in No big hurry to get up and get my stuff ready. Only problem I did not account for? Traffic on 95 South. It was Horrible!! I mean we are at a dead stop at points! at around 2:30 I was starving and we were still 10 miles away from the exit we needed (mind you we were only going 5 miles an hour) So we stopped off and got a sandwich. Finaly arrived at the house at around 3:30 or 4. While pulling into the driveway of Their house I tried to Park but Ended up Sinking and sliding Into a Ditch. Car was at a Nice 45 deggree angle and 1 tire Off the Ground. Almost rolled the thing if it weren't for the 15 guys helping me keep it on the ground. We Sent Amy out the Drivers window over top of me so she would be safe. Finaly someone grabbed a Tow Cable and an SUV and Pulled me Out of it. Then we headed into the Party! Quite the enterance Eh?
The Party was a great time. I had Planned to start drinking, especialy after my little Escapade in the Ditch, But alas there was nothing I was really interested in Drinking. I of course whipped out the Video Camera and Started Filming everyone else drinking tho! (: I will see about getting that Video up for people soon. We all eventually got into Armor and did a Little Film work for a Presentation. If you check out the Gallery you can see some of the Pictures of that. Around 11pm we all went for a nice walk through the Forest under the Light of a Blue Moon (and Lori's Bright ass Spotlight!! I Swear I am gonna attach a Bat Image on the front of that). Then it was time to Crash out. Sunday brought the drive back (Ditch free) and the Icky Icky feelings. If I remember more from the weekend I am sure I will post about it.
Update: Also managed to pick me up a cool Little boom box for travel trips, It plays MP3's as well! Very Handy and in-expensive!
